I'm Alisa Chalakhyan and I created FoundWize for people like myself and many more. Over the course of my career I've worked with around 200 founders from across the world who have thrived to innovate, build ventures, and change the world. Some have succeeded, other not so much. I''d help them, celebrate and grieve, and most importantly, learn as I go. So FoundWize is the platform where I will share my learnings and help you be in the group of successful founders.
The FoundWize Story
My journey to FoundWize began over two years ago when I created STRIVE, a 10-week intensive program designed to help early to mid-career professionals transition into entrepreneurship. With over 500 graduates, STRIVE has empowered individuals to pursue their passions and build sustainable businesses.

However, throughout my work with STRIVE, I noticed a common theme: many young professionals had incredible ideas but struggled to move forward due to the lack of a team or proper guidance. This observation led me to a critical realization—people don’t need a full team to succeed. They just need the right tools, mindset, and structure to build something on their own.

Currently, I’m pursuing an Executive Doctor of Business Administration at PennState, where my research focuses on entrepreneurship and founder decision-making practices. Throughout my career as well as with my studies, I’ve developed a unique training method that helps individuals harness their skills and turn them into successful solo ventures. My conviction is that there’s never been a better time to be a solo founder. The rise of technology, the gig economy, and a global shift toward flexible work make this the ideal environment for solopreneurs to thrive.
